Don’t worry if you are not familiar with uploading pictures. This is a manual for the technophobes amongst us who never uploaded a picture before! As long as you know where to find the picture on your device, you’re good to go. It might therefore be easier to first search for the picture on your device, so you know where it is stored before you click the ‘PLUS’ sign in the upload form.
On your mobile phone, you will usually find your pictures in “Gallery” or “Photos” and land there automatically if you click the upload button. Our form is programmed to upload pictures only, so a good chance your smartphone can already read your mind and put you in the right direction. Or you might first see a question asking you what you want to do or where you want to go. Details will differ between iPhones and Android phones and between various models. When you have found the picture on your phone (after clicking the ‘PLUS’ sign), you only have to tap the picture and it will instantly start to upload to the form.
On a computer or laptop: when you click the ‘PLUS’ sign, you will land on the maps that organise the content on your computer. Locate your map “images” (unless you store your images in a different folder) and, if applicable, open the submap with the picture you want to upload. Click the picture to select it. Now click on the button “OPEN” below the overview of pictures to confirm that’s the one. That will attach the chosen picture to the form.
It’s even easier if you open a second window on your computer showing your picture map next to the window showing the website, side by side. You can then simply drag the chosen picture from one window into the other window, aiming for the box with the ‘PLUS’ sign on the form. You will notice how it snaps in place as soon as you are near the box and starts to upload.
You’re all done now! Just type the further details in the other box on the form and click the button “SEND” at the bottom. Worth a try, even for the digital illiterate amongst us.
